Green Table Network is an innovative enterprising non-profit and consulting team that is encouraging a paradigm shift in the food service industry so that “eating out doesn’t have to cost the earth”.
Green Table helps food industry professionals set targets in five areas: solid waste, water conservation, energy conservation, pollution prevention, and purchasing. Green Table members then receive on-going support from a local network of ‘green experts’ and like-minded businesses to help them realize a wide range of benefits including, not incidentally, saving money. Guests, members, and the environment all benefit.
