Goodwill Travels has now landed in Beantown and just like the pioneers that broke ground in this amazing city, we are forging ahead and making good things happen. In fact, Boston will be the most ambitious undertaking so far on the Goodwill Travels Tour.
Unfortunately the first benefit in Boston was a sad one…a long time entertainer and icon in the city Eugene Byrne passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Our benefit at the Black Rose was an effort to raise funds for his family to aid with their medical bills. The benefit was a great success and a heartfelt tribute to a wonderful man.
Our most recent event was St. Baldrick’s Day – a day to raise awareness and funds for children’s cancer research. Another sold out event that helped to raise over $30,000 in just under three hours!
We have a number of events planned over the next couple months including: the BFD Boot Drive and Firefighters Auction, The Avon Walk, The Susan G. Komen Walk and the Block Party/Concert in Support of Men with Hearts. Should have all the details posted in the upcoming weeks. We are doing a lot of good here in Boston!

Thanks Marnie! I have no idea what I am doing but it just feels like my calling. I will be through the windy city sometime soon. Hope that you have time to meet up to say hello. One lunch every 15 years or so is reasonable isn’t it?
